I started reading Diana Wynne Jones back in 2006, not even hearing of her before then. I was introduced by a kind person in a bookstore who knew of her writing after having seen the Studio Ghibli film on TV and have never looked back.
Since then I have bought all the Chrestomanci books, read two of the three Howl books (never got my hands on the third...so far), read the Dalemark series and finished off with a couple of individual books. I know there are a lot more out there that DWJ wrote, I've just never got there...yet.
It was with sadness that I learned of her death and that is why this blog has started. I wanted to share my feelings on her books (as I have to read at least one, if not more, each year) and have others have their say as well.
This isn't a page to write about wishing for more books, but it is a fan page. As we know, more books aren't possible, but fan fiction is always encouraged. If you want to post something on here relating to DWJ, her works, or her characters, be polite and respectful. Contact me if you would like a piece of fan fiction posted and I'll put it up if possible.
